Analyses from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) have been improved during the years increasing their horizontal and vertical as asuch as number of fields that they provide. Some of the medicane cases could not be represented in the global analysis due to its low horizontal resolution. Evolution of the horizontal resolution of the ECMWF analyses is provided in next table.
